“Surgery ends woman's 4-year ‘heartbeat noise’ in her ear”

A 35-year-old woman had heard a constant humming that kept time with her heartbeat for four years. Dr. Srivastava's team at Artemis diagnosed sigmoid sinus dehiscence, a rare defect in the bone over a large vein behind the ear, and repaired it in a three-hour operation.
